Uncomfortable.....

Well I have officially reached the stage where no matter what I try to do...lay,sit,stand,walk..ect. I cannot get comfortable. I can no longer lay on my back because I can't breathe since she is so high up haha...and when I lay on my sides...it just digs into my hips ouch! I am really getting anxious for this little girl to make her appearance!! As is Eric....he just cannot WAIT! After he put the pack n play and stroller together, and we set things up in the baby room....that was it for him. He's so cute, he just goes in the room and sits and stares...or he'll mess with her little rattles and clothes. He watches my belly roll from side to side and sees her kicking like crazy in there, he gets so jealous.. he just says "okay it's my turn, I want to hold her now". I love how excited he is getting for her to come. I also cannot wait to have this little girl.. I no longer sleep, so I guess I'm ready for that part of being a new mommy hahaha. Oh little Zoe....come soon :)

Baby Gear/Room

Here are some pictures of the Pack n Play, Stroller/Car seat and the progress in the baby room. Eric and his mom put these things together for me, which was great! He is such a proud daddy :) It was so cute watching him get all excited over these baby items and learning how to operate them:)

MY OHIOIANS!!!!!!!

My mother gave me the greatest surprise gift of all........my best friend from Ohio and her dad drove 5 hours for one day to spend my baby shower with me! It was so amazing. Allison and I met when we were 14 at our summer camp our youth groups went to every year. We also went on a mission trip to Guatemala together which really jump started our amazing friendship that we still have to this day. I spent atleast 2 weeks at Allison's house every summer after camp, and they also came here to enjoy a Notre Dame football game...which sadly was the last time I saw her 6 years ago due to us both graduating HS and our "real" lives starting with college and full time jobs. We stayed in contact as much as we could but could never find the time to meet up and visit. Then my amazing mother planned this whole trip for them to come and surprise me. It was so amazing, seeing the two of them was just the greatest thing in the world!!!! One of the best 11 year friendships ever!! I can't WAIT for them to come back in the fall to visit baby Zoe, and of course attend another ND football game:) I LOVE MY OHIOIANS!!!! And thank you SO much mom!!!!! You are truly the greatest!!! Here is a picture of Allison and I and "Pops"and I at the baby shower!

Baby shower!!!

I had another baby shower on Sunday and it was so much fun!! We got blessed with so many great items that we needed or just wanted :) We now have our Pack n Play with bassinet and our car seat and stroller!!!! That was SUCH a blessing!! Here are some pictures from that day

34 Week checkup

Went last Wednesday to my 34 week checkup. It was really well, I'm measuring right at 34 :) Babies heartbeat was 140 which is the normal range for her. We discussed my low blood sugar issue, and she gave me pointers and tips to deal with the hypoglycemia. They are sure that it will most likely go away after the baby is born since I never had a problem with it before I was pregnant. She seems to think that main reason why I am having this problem is because I cannot eat food that is high in protein, except peanut butter. So now I have to have some sort of protein with every meal with is usually something with peanut butter hahaha. She also told me to try a little protein powder in whatever I am drinking as well. Not sure how I feel about that one though, so I may just stick to the peanut butter haha. Next appointment is July 6th, where I have to have the strep test.....not from my mouth :( NERVOUS!!!!

Now low blood sugar????.....................

So after that last Dr.'s appointment where my blood sugar was so low (55) I figured it was a freak thing, wouldn't have to worry about it anymore. Well.....apparently I was wrong. Sunday morning, got up ate break feast, had some juice, and went on to church. After about an hour in church, I had to sit down because my head started getting really dizzy and my heart felt like it was pounding out of my chest. So my mom and I went out of the church to sit in the mothers room....which I then almost passed out and my hands got really tingly. So they gave me a candy bar, we left to go to my mom's which is really close by, and I drank some apple juice. I felt better, back to normal in about 30 mins. THEN.....yesterday we had our first labor/delivery class which we were really excited about. Now mind you, I ate dinner and drank juice before we got there. About 2 hrs in I had to run out because I was getting sick. Threw up, felt a little better so I went back into the class. Then... it was like Sunday all over again.....and all I could think was about "AWESOME ...I'm going to make a complete fool of myself and pass out in front of all these strangers and freak all the other pregnant mommy's out in there. So I just took off out the door, Eric came running after me, and there I go, slid right down the wall and passed out. Low blood sugar AGAIN..so the instructor gave me orange juice and a cold rag, and I started to come to and feel better....this time was way worse, I sweat through my shirt (NASTY) and really had a rough time being able to gather myself. She wanted me to go upstairs to the maternity ward, I said no I just wanted to go home. After all that...I again was fine. My next appointment is Wednesday so I will talk to my Dr. about all this and see what it is we can do and where to go from here. In the mean time I have a little cooler I carry with me now that has granola bars, cheese and crackers, and apple juice for these occasions, hopefully there won't be ANYMORE!!
